I would like to express my appreciation of the fine job the Christie Brothers Heating and Air Conditioning Company performed on our airport tenant air conditioning units, here at the Columbia Metropolitan Airport. The work that they have performed was of very high quality. The estimated time and cost for each job was fair and reasonable which worked well with our budget. During the peak cooling season the response time for emergency services was of high urgency. The technicians when arriving to the job site were very courteous, knowledgeable, and displayed the level of being highly qualified in the trade. After each job, the work areas was left very clean and all waste materials were removed and disposed properly. In conclusion, I would highly recommend Christie Brother Heating and Air Conditioning Company to others and would not hesitate using their HVAC services again in the near future.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

It is with great pleasure that we write this letter of recommendation for Christie Brothers Heating and Air Conditioning, LLC. Our experience with Christie Brothers is limited to two transactions; we bid (1) a food service freezer & cooler and (2) eight roof top HVAC units. Christie Brothers did not win the freezer/cooler bid, however their thorough examination of the project and the detailed proposal were most impressive. All things considered, the award criteria did not allow us to select Christie Brothers.

Christie Brothers did win the HVAC bid. Mr. Randy Christie took the same systematic approach as he evaluated the HVAC project. There was a problem with the air flow as a result of the retrofitted curb adapters and duct work. Mr. Christie made numerous return trips to the school in an effort to correct the operating problems. We have since learned from the supplier that there was an error in the curb adapter design. Mr. Christie made a recommendation during the bidding process which we were not able to accept as it was outside the scope of our specifications. Post installation has proven Mr. Christie correct in his assessment and acceptance of the recommendation would have been beneficial to Williamsburg County Schools.

Christie Brothers Heating and Air Conditioning has done a complimentary job for us on the installation of the eight roof top units. Their price was fair and reasonable and they met each commitment with regard to timeliness and thoroughness. Mr. Christie would call well in advance to alert us if there was a delay in shipment or any reason for a change of plans. The entire experience was handled in a professional manner. Christie Brothers has been added to our preferred vendor list.

SUBJECT: Performance of Christie Brothers Heating and Air Conditioning, LLC of Summerville, SC on installation of 5 HVAC units (ARRA) at the Bears Bluff National Fish Hatchery, Wadmalaw Island, SC.

Christie Brothers Heating and Air Conditioning performed installation of 5 HVAC units for the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service at our Bears Bluff facility beginning in late January and enging in early February of 2010. All work was performed in a professional manner, all equipment was installed as specified in the contract, all employees worked in a prefessional manner and all work was completed ahead of schedule with no delays. All units have functioned as specified by the contract and no operation or installation deficiencies have been documented as of this time (3/18/10). Based on the performance exhibited under this contract I would have no reservations about considering Christie Brothers Heating and Air Conditioning for fugure work here at the hatchery.
